Unfortunatly man i am pretty sure that is classified as legal scamming, i am sure you have seen the contracts in Jita? you never click accept till you have read it carefully, and dont ever do it via trade as that is what i am guessing you did, but generally speaking, you are out 700mil ISK, sorry man, could be worse, on my second day i found 5 PLEX for 80mil each, so yeah.. He messed up and i took advantage of it, it is legal

well ive seen a lot of these scam usually people would put in 800 thousand or so,but to remove 0 as it took me couple minutes to process after doing trade since i had 3 mill in acount and seen 83 i figured looks ok,until bought a ship to see 20 mill drop.
now if fairly new to the game and seen many scam that managed to avoid but this was pure joke on me,im not the best at maths when it comes having 9 zeros on screen but this one hurt me pretty bad,since it was all i had.

if mods decide it was fair trade and let other party go,then i guess it says it all.

Don't feel bad OP. Most players fall victim to some kind of scam early in their career in EVE. Yeah, it sucks... but that is part of what makes it so awesome here. You REALLY have to pay attention to what you are doing.

And not be drunk while doing money related stuff.

i wouldnt feel bad if it wasnt item bought for real cash,i know the drill of selling on the market,but as said 3 mill in account couldnt afford to make contract,and isk needed was enough to buy plex back after a day or two,of exploring sites.

and even thou it shows im 7 months old im just back to the game after half year being off before played 3 months.

But if its seen as normal game action where admins wont even bother to reverse such transfer as its black on white scam,then i guess its boohoo on me.

the way i see it,if you lose isk to some bug-then its no ones fault-just game error.you try to sell isk or whatever for real cash then its ban-since ccp losses.and if you get scammed you lose scammer wins ccp has your $ anyway and no one cares.

its not like i was trying to gain something out of the trade, price was 800mill,just enough for me to get ship and fits to be back on the field-since as someone said i could sold it for about 20 mill less,but that would bring me even down since return needed back would been almost 100mill which is not days work in eve.

In nine years I have never used the trade window. There are safer ways.

the amount of times ive been killed,just by random you didnt check that,went to the wrong place etc.

other day flew to close to some station since my pc laggs a lot,got a freeze,minute later seen my pod,and 20mill isk floating in space.

no one even bothered to kill me in low sec,asking for 10 minutes people around,was my biggest lol ever,once you dont want to die there's something waiting to kill you any second but when your floating in egg and asking people to pod you,they think you got something going on there wasn't a day where i wouldn't learn a lesson without being killed or podded in some way since i returned-but this last thing tops it all.

You warped to a moon and were killed by a POS, don't warp to moons if you are not in highsec, if you must warp to a moon, warp to 100km instead of 0.

Also if no one will pod you, you can self destruct.

Stop saying rip off and blaming it on others man, not a good way to approach this game, take it on the chin, and get over it, YOU ultimately let it happen, not CCP
