It doesn't help supply that the sources for tags hurts faction standings, so few people actually run the missions that drop tags. It is one of those legacy systems that will hopefully get revamped one day. To my knowledge, hasn't been changed at least since 05 when I started playing :/

The best advice I can give is have an alt with trade skills and use buy orders.

I'd have to agree that the cost of these tags is likely due to them not being farmed much, and that is likely because they drop on l3 missions (can't confirm) I do know that they drop in large fw plexes but at a very low rate. I just wish you didn't need so many of them for the stuff in the long store!

People run FW missions all the time. They just don't often clear them or bother to loot the tags.

FW mission content has been laughably broken for ages, but CCP hasn't been able to think up a good fix and they've had their sights set on fixing Sov in Nullsec. Fair enough.

Once they've got the new Sov system in place and dealt with the initial implementation problems they're sure to face we need to return pressure to fixing FW missions. I'm fine with they staying moderately "farmable" as a good source of income for people, but the whole Stealth Bomber Lvl4 ISK isk fountain thing for Caldari and Minmatar needs to go.

Make them run Lvl 4s in HACs / T3s like the real men of Gallente militia.

You can run L4s in a bomber as Amarr too :-P

only Gal are broked on that one
