Right, as usual, let's hide behind EULA. It's take it or leave it. All do it in a way or another, but some are just greedy and stand behind those small text lines nobody bother to read. Others ignore own EULA and show they are strong enough to run a cusomer oriented business.


Let's assume the servers are down for a total of 3 hours of 'unexpected downtime', for which you demand compensation.

That amounts to roughly 12 cents of game time that you've paid for. (less if you buy 3-month or more recurring plan.)
That means that you want CCP to refund 12 cents per person, per paid account.
A quick google search shows me that roughly 350,000 active subscriptions are paid for on EVE as of this year.

That means that you expect CCP to pay out $42,000.00 worth of compensation for 12 cents worth of your time.

I don't even need to add an insult to this. You're just talking about things you don't understand.

THX to the extended DT i was clicking on voucher center and i found out i had two items still to claim from 2014 1 was Rorqual ORE Development Edition BPC and the other was Collectors Edition Mystery Code - Apparel pack Cool my day is good so far. + the CSM BPC shuttle. DT for me is the free swag day.

I would like to thank CCP for this unscheduled downtime. I had every intention of logging on 2 hours ago and blowing things up. Instead I'm actually being productive and accomplishing work I intended to procrastinate by playing EVE.

...I honestly wish CCP made some shirt/hat with "I LOVE DOWNTIME" (or some other funny remark) and a customized date on it for every unscheduled downtime, then gave it away to everyone who was active the day before the downtime.

Would be top kek.
