Caldari Titan bonuses (per skill level):
100% bonus to kinetic Citadel Cruise and Citadel Torpedo Missile damage
7.5% bonus to fleet members' maximum shield hitpoints
• Can fit 1 additional Warfare Link module

Flagships bonuses (per skill level):
10% increase to maximum jump distance
6% bonus to Siege Warfare and Information Warfare Links effectiveness to fleet members on grid.

Role Bonus:
• Can fit Oblivion doomsday device
• Can fit Jump Portal Generator
• Can fit Clone Vat Bay
• Immune to all forms of Electronic Warfare

i could see adding the warfare link bonus to titans but no to T2 titans and no to bigger jump range

No increase to jump range but other than that I do like the idea of an additional warfare link. I would only support this however if the other capitals got T2 variants aswel. T2 battle carrier can field 5 more drones/fights or can field 5 fighter bombers, loses logi and gains resistances. T2 dreads have +10% per level turret tracking speed/reduced explosion radius,increased exp velocity. T2 Moms can bridge.

We need to find a way to remove Supers from the game, not add more variations.

just because you don't have one doesn't mean they need to be removed.

they have their place they just need to stop stepping so far out of it

Because t1 carriers perform their logi role very well already. Spider cap and reps is already terribly flawed and needs to be fixed. Carriers that can fill the role of a baby dread is a good split in variety.

Switch Max Jump distance to missile range or explosion radius, or even doomsday cycle time. The idea is for a extremely rare and expensive ship that really has an ongrid presence. The warfarelink bonus is only to ships on the same grid, idk if a distance say 300-400km would be more accurate or informative.

Also agreed here. Titan dps is laughable at best. Tank? It's more of a POS with a little reps here and there. As far as a Titan goes as being a "ship" it is a poor ship in all categories when compared to scaled down smaller ships. As of now, Titans are only good for bridging and drive bys, and since the jump nerf, it's only about bridging now. Just a giant expensive KM waiting to happen. Without its DD, a single dread could widdle down a Titan and tank anything it threat it.

because the 3300 DPS isn't baby dread enough


any sort of T2 carrier should focus far more on logi buffs or defensive buffs when in triage giving up drones or the abuility to spider tank.

Ok, I don't really want to get into what the T2 carriers should be. Their specifics isn't what I really care about. My point is that all caps should have a T2 variant. Let the masses determine their bonuses.

And why do caps need T2s? just because they don't have them? or is there a need in the game play for them

This is (or was) the Titan initially. Then the numbers exploded.

My thoughts an caps and supercaps (disclaimer: I don't have one) are that their roles need to reworked to make it so that having more of them on the field is not a linear increase in power, but that each one has less impact than the last.

First off, Moms ARE T2 carriers. They may not have that T2 badge, but they are most definitely T2.

But enough about carriers. I started with Titans, and I wanted to share my thoughts on them. They bring to the table a bastion of HP to eat through, and a significant amount of DPS. I would not dream of taking away from them their signature doomsday. I wouldn't even nerf it.

I would take away their turrets and launchers. I would turn them into a force multiplier instead. On grid, they should be able to make any fleet significantly more effective on top of command ship boosts, and while their doomsday should be something to be feared, it's not the big guy that will take you down. This would make having more than one on grid (per fleet) pointless and reduce the need for massive numbers of them.

It may seem I'm advocating a nerf bat for the titan, but I'm not. And I am. Its a change in roles from a mobility platform that can deliver supreme dps and is a ***** to kill to a mobility platform that has a much smaller amount of dps, but is still a ***** to kill and is a significant force multiplier for its accompanying fleet. Depending on the size and makeup of the fleet, that could be a buff, not a nerf.

removing turrets even if you still keep the doomsday will just make mother ships even more powerful as the risk to fielding several is lessened since they just have to deal with DDay cycles and managing dread DPS

what you are proposing would either need to give such an advantage that anyone not using one would stand little chance because other wise just like now unless you know you are going to win the fight they still wouldn't be fielded

I think the DPS of titans should be buffed and there should be a super capital version of a dread added.
