So I have just recently re-activated my account and when I was working through the graphics settings I noticed that it only recognizes one of my two gtx 460's that are in sli. Is this normal? When I say recognize I mean that the place where you choose your card it only shows the one. Everything seems good on the game though. No lag. My fps goes down a bit with max graphics when I am in the station messing with my avatar but that is it. My vsync is on so I only get 60 fps but it stays maxed out flying around. Ohh, I also run 3 29" screens with my nvidia setting set to surround. One of my monitors is hooked to the second card. I am not sure if that helps. I guess I am just wondering if I should see both cards in the settings area and if so, is there a fix because I only see the one.

I did do a search and looked but was not successful. Of course my search skills are not up to par. Thank you all for your time and I appreciate any replies.

hello i am am also using dual nvida 460s in sli.

what sli does is allow 2 cards to render frames on the same screen by alternating which card is rendering the current frame in rapid succession thus doubling the frame-rate obtainable with a single card. due to this only your graphics drivers really need to know about the dual card setup so most programs just view it as one card even though it is still two cards acting as one.
you do occasionally end up with serious frame flickering in some games but that's why they make v-sync.

so relax my client shows as one card as well. but msi afterburner shows both cards ramping up evenly to share the frame-rate load and i have a significant increase over when i used to only run one 460
