Oh, the plural. I believe that everywhere I wrote "nebula" I actually meant the plural (I think it's "nebulae").

Awwww you had to let it slip. What was an 8-9/10 has now dropped to a 3/10. Thanks for playing though.

Yeah - in proper latin, it would be 'nebulae', in it's anglicised form, 'nebulas' would be acceptable though (but certainly not nebula's).

This also has been proven in a scifi movie I watched recently

I can quite categorically assure you that sci-fi movies do not "prove" anything

floodlights on ships

Confirming that space is not mostly just vacuum and thus floodlights would have any purpose whatsoever.

Well, the floodlights are supposed to throw light on the objects in space (the hostile ship a few hundred meters in front of us) not on the space itself. Vacuum or invisible thin aether - it doesn't matter. Big clouds of smoke would be disturbing though. Yes, if there is nothing then it's dark. Very cool.

Well, there was this little gem from CCP Torfi:

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia
