Sounding board on Structures with CCP attending.

Sugar Kyle and I, will be holding a sounding board for people to come and chat about structure with CCP Nullarbor.

Stuff that will be discussed are.

Alternate ideas for capture/ destroying structures.

Being safe and or aggressing ships around structures Outposts/POS/desployables.

The meeting will take place on Thursday the 26th Feb at 19.00 Eve time. It will be on a TS server, details being sent out the day before to people wanting to come along.

I really hope intel gathering from both a structure owner/occupant and visitors to a systems perspective will also be considered greatly when designing these.

A station just won't be acceptable for WH space.

I am Winthorp you might remember me from such films as i got CCP to make signature ID's persistent through DT for their love of AU bros.

No they really won't be.

I think the failure of takeup from WH entities of the Thera experiment should be proof enough to CCP that stations in WH space with all their limitations with intel gathering and docking games do not belong.

i won't be there but maybe you could ask CCP something: if they planing to give the next gen poses forcefields too, given that 99% of all issues with poses are caused by them. (bumping exploits, skynet, OGBs@forcefields, invincible titan bridges, cyno-inside-forcefield "tricks", you name it)

(i am assuming that poses are still on the roadmap for a redesign)

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Destructible stations/outposts in nullsec - sure
Stations/outposts in wspace is a hard no and non-starter. The very thought of them defies the spirit of impermanence of wspace.
