They'll most likely finish Amarr and Minmatar either during the winter expansion or (latest) next summer expansion. Also, it's not like the new shaders did nothing to minmatar ships. Some of the more bulkier designs, like the Typhoon or Prowler look really nice with the new reflections. Also I've seen several people grabbing a Firetail just due to the semi-updated look.

Oh, and in case you didn't try it yet. The solar panels (at least those of my Prowler and Cheetah) seem to be semi-translucent now, still blocking the sun light but working like a very strong filter (interesting to look at).

I agree that mini textures need to be updated, they've been the same since trinity. But really it's a moot point since minmatar and Amarr are next on the V3 list.

Dont worry they are compensating minmatar uglyness by turning amarr ships into brass abominations .

Im so sorry to point that minmatar current technology doesn't allow a faster production rate than several ductape units per year so their *graphical develop* it's slow compared to other races.

On the other hand you can be proud to know all your good looking ships are based in lovingly drawed ductapes over and over by the most skilled minmatar artist!!!


P.S: can't help everytime i think on minmatar and good design the idea of handmade draw over the ductape comes over and over Lol
