So i was thinking, one of the problems with poses is that you don't know which ship belongs to who. So what if it were possible to put a small tag beside the ship name so you know who it belongs to or how it is fit. This can also be triggered by hovering over the ship or the name of the ship ect.

Example:

[ship name] - Bowboy686 Renalard

The Brute - Bowboy686 Renalard

maybe... if someone doesnt have access to the ship and they try to take it, alarms go off, you hear loud noices and flashing lights, oh and, santa claus

Or, you now, naming your ships in such a way that people can tell it's you?

Ships can be named. If you dislike giving people free intel via dscan, you can use personalized symbols or codes.

i was thinking more of, when you hover over a ship it tells you the price, the full name of the ship so Why no put the owner of the ship there so then you dont have to change you name with all those tickers and such. I think that will make it easier on pos heavy corps.

Like its not a HORRIBAD idea or anything but i dont feel like it merits the effort on the database end of things...

  1. Right click on ship.
  2. Put tag in name.
  3. Tell others who use POS that the tag is yours.
  4. There is no step 4.
  5. Profit?

There, your idea already implemented in game.

If you look at some of the eye candy, NPC set ups in missions, I'm guessing we were supposed to be able to anchor our ships at POS outposts and maybe even password the process. It just never actually happened.
