Hey

For a start I would like to say that, Till now i have been miner. All the ISK I have earned was by Hours of ops in high sec belts and tense ops in low sec, with trigger happy gourds.. Now I want to try different thing. something new, something interesting.. So I decided to become trader.. Unfortunately I lack experience and knowledge how market operates in EVE.

So here I am. I would love to hear Advices from Experienced Traders, who know what is what ^^

Where should i make base of operation? what tools (programs) should I use? How should I select goods? What is like being Trader?

I know you won't share all of your ways but even a little advices will appreciated ^_^

There are so many guides online. Just google "EVE station trading" and you'll have more than enough information to get started. I'm sure if you have any more specific questions, people would be more than happy to help. Good luck!

If you get higher margins buying and selling at one station - station trading is better.
If you get higher margins buying at one station and selling at another station - trade runs are better.

What might work for Tritanium might not work for Pyerite.
What might work on monday might not work on tuesday.

That's the "interesting" part of being a trader - you investigate possibilities, try to reduce risk, value the remaining risk and go for it or not.

There is no "go to station x, trade item y, enjoy z ISK" general advice possible in a player driven market.

Quote: Now I want to try different thing. something new, something interesting..

Buy low, sell for a profit.
As I said, the interesting part is finding those niches which may (and will) change (sometimes on a daily basis).

I feel like you are not looking for an interesting gameplay but more like looking for a way to maximize ISK without risk and work.

I am Beginner so it might look that way. Till now all I have been doing is just mining. General stuff in mining is very easy, Find good belt, raze it ground, sell ores, profit ... as time pass by it becomes tiresome and less action... So I have decided to learn few things about trading and find new way in EVE..

What are the good ships for traders ( I am mostly oriented on Gallente ) ?

Do you use any tools to check prices ? is there any way to learn what is on demand in market?

Frankly, I am surprised these posts do not get locked for being duplicates. The first paragraph differs but the end question is basically same.
