For the 'trinkets' PLEASE make one of them a spoon. Another a wizard hat. Or a golden monocle. Jar of mayonnaise/peanut butter. A pair of jeans with the price tag on. All of these could be wearable, too. For, uhr, immersion.

You can wear mayonnaise? Or indeed a spoon Shocked

You could wear mayonnaise, albeit it's completely disgusting and probably uncomfortable. Eww!

Oh, and there is no spoon! Blink

Fantastic bit of CSM promotion CCP. I have been deeply impressed by the Cap Stable CSM X coverage of over 40+ candidates. I would suggest that anyone/everyone go there and enjoy and absorb the content. These submissions are thoughtful and considered.

I love the ship!

I am wondering sometimes what is the interest of such a message.
CCP proposes a CSM. You won't find this anywhere else.
CSM gives time.
CCP offers some nice presents for this.

And i read this type of message.
Only to break, only to destroy.

If your are not interested in this vote, so why are you writing on this thread ?

Sorry Falcon/Leloo/Phantom to get nervous like this on your thread but sometimes it's really too much.

WE WILL VOTE. Don't be afraid.
And not only for your presents.

Best regards.

MMO's have player councils all the time.. this is nothing new and CCP was not the 1st to ever come up with the idea. CCP is the 1st however to do things like give permanent seats to someone/alliance which will forever be a problem since the folks come into it are also part of that same alliance (off the books).. so yeah as it stands it needs to be revamped

If I remember right, CCP was the first to implement a democratically elected player council, though I can't be sure, as it has been a few years since the CSM came to be. However, since it is democratically elected, CCP does not give permanant seats to anyone. That is an outright lie! Nothing needs to be revamped, except your bad attitude and lack of proper research.

Since it's obvious from your recent posting history that you dislike EVE and CCP, I question why you are still subscribed. It would probably be better for you to find a game you will be happier with, don't you think? If you do leave, can I haz your stuffz?

No.

It's more than an idea. They do.

No permanent seats if there is a vote.

It's democracy.
If you let others vote (alliance members so), don't complain after that they can make elect some persons you don't like.
Mike Azariah isn't from an alliance. He has a solo player style. So, no, mate.

CSM voting's all good, but what's with this shuttle? 10 per account is essentially a lifetime's supply for every EVE player. This is a shuttle buff in disguise, these things have 50% more EHP than a gallente shuttle, no drawbacks and are only limited issue in the most technical sense. If you want to buff shuttle EHP by 50%, just do it, don't pretend that it's a limited edition hull.

they only implemented it cause the devs where caught cheating and it was the easiest way for them to not have eve online go under.

But players have to build them... some may never get built. The BPC itself will be a "collector's item." Nothing to worry about here :) Other past "free ships" have had much more interesting game balance implications: the Leopard shuttle, prized for its high warp speed, and the Gnosis battlecruiser.

I have been disappointed with CCP's efforts in promoting past elections.

But this...this is a brilliant and fun way of promoting the CSM elections in a tangible way that will have some kind of persistence in the game. Good going, y'all!

Let me try to understand.

Eit her the CSM is effective or useless.

If useless then do not vote, get the bpc. No skin off your nose and we get to play politics. Or do vote secure in the knowledge that it makes no difference. You still get the bpc.

But what if the CSM are not useless? Then you have to choose whether to vote or not. Don't vote and others get to choose how CCP will be advised. Maybe other people will choose well, maybe not. Or you vote and are part of the process. You still get the bpc and a say in what happens.

Vote or don't, you get something.

Whether you participate or even believe that CSM has substance does not change the fact that CCP is on record as supporting our efforts. They get the final say on this.

Voting for the CSM should give you free access to the Eve Online forums for one year (excluding new bro's), else it should be one Plex Cool

Vote or don't, everyone can make that decision for themselves.

What I would like is... a link to where To Vote??? My R00kie skillz are lacking, can't seem to Eve-google-fu my way to it.

I would like to vote, if for only one reason. If the candidates I vote for aren't elected, then I have legit grounds to grumble, well those aren't My candidates, rather than sit back and not even bother tossing in my vote in some randomly whim based direction.

So where it this year's 'ballot box' located please?

Fair enough. Thanks. I was going from the little clock in the corner of the forum and ingame that put when it went live as already happened when I originally asked. Silly 'Murican chick not so great with GMT times displayed in 24 hour 'military' time format!
