You have no damage mods...

The classic rupture is dc, 1600mm, 3x gyro's. Though isk/performance wise nowadays 2x gyro's 1x eanm and 2 gunnery rigs is better compared to trimarks which triple the ships cost.

My personal favourite is LSE rupture which I took in use the day of the great nano nerf, fill it up with gyro's and Te's, 425mm's and medium neuts and you can rip quite a bit to pieces. It also doesn't die to every single gatecamp.

NOTE: above for solo/small gang only.

I do have one question though.

Why the Suitcase if your armor tanked? Why not a Nano Plate or if you have the spare CPU another EANM? The total effective boost to ehp comes from the Struture boost the DC gives. The Nano Plate/EANM will give you better armor resist than what the DC will provide.

From my thinking I would rather focus on boosting the area im tanked in than boosting a part of the ship I am not tanked in.

Sorry if this is a dumbass question but like many I am also learning.

I personal wouldnt go without the DC, gods knows how many time iv won the fight in hull or managed to warp out with like 20% structure left.

This is not a balanced ship in the same way the smaller turreted armour variants are but it does ridonculous damage for a t1 cruiser, and the nano gives you enough mobility to kite / disengage if things go pear shaped, which in my opinion is one of minny ships' greatest assets. Regarding the damage control, in a ship as lightweight as this I'll take the extra ehp in whatever form it comes in, bearing in mind it comes with no agility penalty, nor extra sig radius. I only use the 3 gyro version when I am not going to be the first point of contact for a hostile (IE the one on the gate / at a belt / shooting a guy outside station) however I wouldn't feel comfortable soloing in it. *NOTE* If you get scrammed in this you are almost certainly boned.

To answer the DCII question above from my perspective. If you are an active fit or running with logistic support then arguably boosting your favoured tank would be for the best, allowing your reps/recharge to do their best work. If however you are buffer tanked then 1000 hit points are 1000 hit points, wherever they fall, thats another volley or two of fire from your enemy you can survive. Cost / benefit wise I find the DCII to be a very efficient use of 1 slot with no negative effect on your ship, and usually alowing an extra 2-5 volleys of survivability, enough to finish the job, or gtfo.
