Hi,

I've read the last in-game news following the release of Tiamat, and I am quite surprised to be honest:

Quote:
entire Genesis fleet on high alert, following widespread reports of hundreds of unidentified structures uncloaking across the cluster

So basically, the structures weren't a threat as long as they were semi-cloaked. But now that they are fully visible, suddendly they become important? It should've been considered serious way before, don't you agree?

Also please explain how they changed their shape and doubled their size, if you compare the new model with the cloaked model...

Quote:
the DED’s active fleet have been “placed on high alert as a precautionary measure, designed to increase response times in the event of incidents relating to newly appeared entities across the cluster.

Right, so we have drifters and circadian sleepers even in high-sec, but how come CONCORD doesn't intervene when they blow up capsuleers? How come even sentry guns don't react when circadians / drifters show agressive behaviour toward capsuleers near them?

Its almost as if... CONCORD actually sided with the sleepers/drifters against us! Bear

They won't defend capsuleers because capsuleers are pretty much hated by literally everyone who isn't currently employing them. If a neutral party (CONCORD) sees a capsuleer and some random alien/sleeper/futurespacedrone fighting, they're going to assume the capsuleer picked the fight and make some popcorn before the fireworks start

With the highly sofisticated detection equipment they have, they should know better Big smile

I think the question now is what does their presence mean? Is this another attempt at making some sort of incursions work? Or some sort of Sansha elite operations. As for the Circadians who knows.

I personally have multiple theories. As some may know I recently had a long discussion on the Amarr Militia forum with two other Capsuleers. Notably that conversation went from theories on who the Drifters are to discussions on the Amarr Empire and how, quite honestly, they used there religion as a shield and sat on such a high horse they couldn't realize the threats posed by Sansha's Nation, the Drifters, and the like. Anyways, here are my theories.

Theory One: Jovians
One theory I have is that the Jovians are actually controlling the Sleepers and Drifters, using the Sleepers as scouts. Many would argue that 'Why would the Jovians destroy there own Gates?', but it could be a precaution for when the Empires and us Capsuleers discover that the Jovians tricked us so that we can't get to them. This is one of my less prominent theories, as it has no solid proof.

Theory Two: Jovian Factions/Sleeper-Drifter War
This is one of my more prominent theories, and suggest that there were actually multiple Jovian Factions. Maybe when the Enheduanni went into there self-imposed exile, the Drifters were Enheduanni who decided that they no longer wanted to exile themselves, and when the rest of the Enheduanni tried to keep the Drifters from leaving, the two factions went to war. Maybe the Drifters managed to win the war, destroying the Enheduanni who wanted to stay in Exile, and those destroyed Enheduanni are the Sleepers we see today, which would explain why the Sleepers are nearly wiped out and only there drones remained. Maybe the Enheduanni who wanted to stay exiled (the Sleepers) managed to launch a sort of final blow against the Drifters, and this could be why the Drifters no longer have there bodies. Maybe the Sleepers attempted to warn us, and maybe they created Caroline's Star as a more explosive, symbolic way of warning us what was coming. It could be that the Other rose up from within the Sleepers to again spark a civil war, and he could've took control of the Drifters to give them there revenge, creating them there new bodies, combining Talocan, Jovian, and Sleeper technology to create a formidable army. Maybe the structures appearing are ways that the Other can transmit there orders to the Drifters. This theory is chilling, but it has very much proof sitting on its shoulders. There is also the possibility that the other could have inspired the Sani Sabik Cult, using there Blood Farms to retrieve tissue to repair the Drifters to their organic state and insert spies into the Empires. The Savants could be Drifters themselves, as they could obviously do things due to the technology that other couldn't.

Theory 3: Sansha's Nation
It has been noted that the headquarters of Vigilant Tyrannos are in the same system that had been occupied by Sansha forces several years ago. The Jovians claimed to have liberated the system shortly after, but it is still possible that Sansha’s Nation managed to abduct Jovians to turn them into slaves and thus acquired Jovian technology as well. The fact that Sansha’s Nation uses artificially generated wormholes to transport their fleets supports the latter speculation along with the heavy use of implants and generic names like Starategos Tyrannos, describing a function rather than an individual, similar to Sansha True Slaves.

On the other hand, the Drifter battleships form a problem for this theory. If the Drifters were created by Sansha’s Nation by means of stolen Jovian technology and clones, why would Sansha Kuvakei not make use of the same technology in his fleets? The propulsion and weaponry of the Drifter battleships appear far beyond anything the Nation uses and there is no indication whatsoever that there has been any sort of technological exchange between the two factions other than the method for wormhole generation. However, this could be Sansha Kuvakei's way of tricking the Empires into believing this is not true.

Please tell me what you think of my theories, and I hope this turns into a long conversation Smile

CONCORD does not exist to protect capsulers, CONCORD exists to protect people from capsulers. Zura is right, so long as it is not a registered capsuler who starts the fight CONCORD has no reason to intervene and assist. They never have and never will. It's the same reason they will show up in the middle of a Sansha incursion to destroy a suicide ganker, and then proceed to calmly float around while the space-zombies suck the brains of civilians.
