People over-inflating the amount they scammed off of idiots is pretty lame.

I'm not impressed until you falsely claim to have scammed at least 100 Bil. So get crackin'.

The real mind twist in this thread is whether or not Zion being scammed is a leadup to a bigger scam? Why would someone defend an offer from someone they chatted with for just 10 minutes?

My first thought was sympathy to the guy scammed but in the back of my mind that emotion could be a play to garner sympathy for a future offering. While it won't work on everyone, a publically viewable loss of money to a scam does make that person seem a little less likely to scam (having suffered before) and keeps the persons name somewhat fresh in the minds of those who read the forums.
