NPC's get proper cap, AND USE IT!

I like some of thes ideas, but ppl forget, that normal NPC ships do not have a Demi-God controlling like 90% of their systems.

they are far from it. NPCs are way out of balance because people want a "challenge" when all they are going to do is overcome the new "challenge" and be bored again. where does a frigate permajamming a battleship, or 1 serp rat redcuing your sensor boosted range to 17k, a sansha rat reduced blasters opt range to 1.4k.

they can perma rep, never run out of ammo or cap, the agro mechanic is highly broken as they change targets as a adhd child on 5 gallons of coffee mixed with pixie stick powder.

They can do level 3's for longer.

when i started my first level 4's i was noobish and it just so happened my very first level 4 was a tougher one and after several warp ins and out i conceded and took the standings hit and ran level 3's for a little longer till i could improve my tank.

there is nothing wrong with this.

So what if it makes the missions a little harder for new players the first time they do it? Worst case they learn a lesson and fit better tank or dps... best case they actually have friends help them in this oddly multiplayer game...

I remember when I was a newb and barely in a thrasher and a friend of a friend took a couple of us in dessies into his Gone Berserk lvl 4. whew man was that scary when I got to close and aggro'd a new spawn. But he had remote reps on one of his main ships and nobody died.

That and there are plenty of resources out there to help pilots be prepared for things they haven't done yet, like eve-survival, it does a great job of detailing what each mission has/does and how to do it best with least risk.
