Hi folks, just wondering what the done thing is generally when a blue AWOXes?

I got dumpstered last night by a 'coalition-mate' who locked me down while his buddies (from a red corp) jumped in and stomped all over me. I'm happy to suck it up because 'eve', 'content' etc, I've never been AWOXed before so it's kinda cool to be able to add this to the list of stuff I;ve done/had happen in eve - but if losses like this tend to reimbursed by the corp the AWOXer infiltrated, then no reason not to raise it with them I guess?!

Generally the victim(s) will post hilarious whinge threads in the crime and punishment subforum whereby They will be mercilessly mocked and/or wardecked by the mercenary groups loitering therein.

once you lose something in eve, it's gone.
the only exertions to this are losses incurred through exploits,bugs and server-side issues.

yep, sorry this is along the exact lines you described, I'm not referring to a CCP reimbursal - apologies if I could have been a bit clearer in my OP

Actually, that's exactly what the character Awox is famous for (shooting up people under the cover of blue standings), and how it got named that - the name has just got a bit stretched since.

From my experience when people come to this forum to ask about how stuff is handled inside their corp/ally/coalition they usually are in a crap one

For diplo reasons most corps will reimburse the loss. It's worth bringing up, yes.

I got awoxxed once in Fountain. A blue bomber came in and pointed my Vindicator and his neutral buddies in bombers came in and killed me.

It was my own damn fault, I had an alt in a Tengu hat I dula boxed for protection but I was using it to check the belts when I got pointed. I warped the tengu to the vindicator and killed a few bombers but the vindicator popped. At least they didn't get any loot, and I recovered all the good stuff off the Vindi (loot fairies be praised).

I used it as a learning experience. ALWAYS fit to survive instead of max profit and if you have a 'suicide defender' alt that you rat with, don't send it to the mother F%^&*$ belts looking for officer spawns when it should be protecting you lol.

(The above is what happens when you take responsibility for your failures instead of blaming CCP for letting it happen, because taking responsibly makes you get better at what you were doing so bad things happen less).

Edit: I did get reimbursed by the alliance the awoxxer belonged to.
