There is a POS in a high sec system that I want.

My question is, is it possible to attack and destroy it without war deccing the corporation who own it?

No (or more accurately, not without a response from Concord)

Thanks for the reply!

Just one on top of this, what about if I were to attack the modules and not the POS itself? Would there be a reaction from concord?

Could try aggressing some sleepers/seeker guys in something cheap and warping to it, let the sleepers kill you and hope they attack it. Lol always worth a shot

Yes.
what you do is wardec the Corp, watchlist it's members so you know if any of them are online, when none are, go kill the pos

Or

Hire mercs to go do it for you (worth noting that they will charge you at least the cost of the war + whatever the going rate)

CONCORD will spank you.

Had someone try that on one of my towers. They almost got a lab, but CONCORD got the killing blow first.

Depending on the sec status of the system, you may be able to hyperdunk the tower without doing a wardec. This will take a while and require lots of ships.

My corp specializes in removing offline towers in hisec for a fee. EvEmail me directly if you're interested in a quote.

But to answer your question, you cannot effectively remove an offline POS in hisec without a wardec. CONCORD will respond to any non-wardec-related aggression. Individual POS modules are viable suicide gank targets though.

Offline towers also drop faster since they're without hardener modules or reinforce mode. If the owning corp is inactive/dead, you can easily pop it with an Oracle or three in a couple hours.

Offline pos may indicate the corp is no longer active. Wardec it and find out.

Pay the overwhelming price of 50 million isk and you can shoot it. Which is like 3 lvl 4 missions if you're poor.
