Don't you know it's just "D&D" now and we're like up to the 5th edition. Sheesh.

Thank you WoTC for turning it into a Harry Potter-esque freakshow monopoly. No idea how kids today can afford all those books. Maybe they shoplift them like I used too.

My apologies. I will admit the extent of my D&D experience stops at neverwinter.

I should have gone with a 40k reference to melta weapons, but I thought that would have been more obscure.

Hey it's okay I was only teasing.

I stopped at 3.5 edition because it just got ridiculous. $50 per book and you need 100 books to play it, then they make a new version each year and trash the old version so you need to mortgage your house again and update to all the new books.

I do miss it though. Even in my 30's, nothing like sitting around the table with some friends and getting drunk/stoned or whatever your thing is while throwing dice at each others' heads and RPing your heart out.
