OP, if you really want to hire people to gank your buddy there, you should give the reward to one of Eve's reputable third party money holders and have them post here that they do, in fact, have the reward waiting to be paid out.

Um, and let's not forget ( oh, and I started the sentence with "Um", take that, third grade English teacher!!) that according to AD&D rules, the only way to kill a troll is with fire or acid. Podding them won't work.

Ah, well, unless the Jovians decide to gift us capsuleers with weapons that deal acid effect damage, I guess were stuck dealing Thermal in an effort to take down Eve trolls. This might be the time for Inferno missiles to shine! If there is more than one troll in the vicinity, perhaps even a Scorch bomb or two will be the answer (assuming that a group of trolls will wait around 12 seconds for one to go off.. thanks a lot CCP..). I guess one could go with Phased Plasma for dealing with a troll as well cause its mostly thermal. Lasers and hybrids probably wouldn't fare as well seeing as therm is typically the secondary damage dealt. Conflag of Gleam have 50/50.. but it seems a waste as most trolls would b unaffected by EM damage anyways.. I guess you could always drop some hobbies or hammerheads on them.. OH! You could use OGRES! What better way to fight a troll than with an OGRE!!!

Ok.. if youre going to kill a troll in Eve, youre gonna have to use Ogres. Its the only way to be sure, especially in this case, because nuking them from orbit isn't an option.. nuclear doesn't deal thermal damage.

The first time I went under -2.0 sec status, it was trying (and failing, oops, I was a newb...) to podkill someone to stop them posting garbage in Dodixie local.

It was before Retribution, so the only reason I took a (big) sec status hit was because after I got the troll to low armor with my failfit destroyer (i think it was a catalyst, not a good call for ganking under station guns), someone else finished the job.

If you're serious about this, I would do what this man recommends.

IMO, I would also include something more than "pod him a few times." Would a ship loss suffice? And, how is the reward affected? Is it final blow, or everyone on the KM?

Speaking of reward, is there any reward? If so, what is it?

Don't you know it's just "D&D" now and we're like up to the 5th edition. Sheesh.
