Without preamble, this link opens a holo vid: the spartan interior of a Caldari captain quarters, all cool lighting and hard angles. A couch rests in mid-frame, a table before it, and a bit forward of that, in the immediate foreground, a mound of black strands bumps quietly back and forth, with an occasional scuffing noise and beep of controls.

A time-date stamp appears, top-right, indicating YC 117, 2-14, at 0246 UTC.

After a moment, the black mound lifts and a pair of bemused black eyes in a pallid face pop up into view beneath a pair of equally-bemused black eyebrows and a shock of black hair. These back away, and first the right eyebrow lifts, then the left, and the head cocks first left, then right, in counterpoint, as elfin nose, cheeks, lips, chin, and throat (and one dainty ear) all come into view, along with the top bits of the lightly-embroidered black tunic she wears. The diminutive Achur woman frowns at the camera, black little eyes flicking back and forth around the edges of the frame.

She taps a couple of times with her fingers at the air over her left wrist, and the image immediately rotates 90 degrees clockwise, catching a long shot of herself and the room (she's also wearing black trousers, and the ceiling continues to declare the architect's deep and abiding devotion to exposed metal), dimensions resizing to fit.

She taps again, and the room is upside-down.

Frowning in irritation, she taps twice more, and the view returns to its proper orientation, though not without spending another quarter-second on edge.

Scowling, she sets herself down on the table edge and scratches her head with one hand. Her eyes drift to the upper left of the camera's view.

For a moment, she is still, frowning slightly, as though trying to make sense of a riddle. Then, her eyebrows jump two centimeters, the rest of her manages at least one, and she stares wide-eyed right at the camera. Her fingers fumble frantically at her wrist's airspace, and a few seconds later, the video ends.

The final time on the stamp shows 0248 UTC.

I think a better question is why a vid of Aria fumbling with a holo-recorder is IGS worthy.

I mean, sure it has a cutesy quality to it, but is there more to it than that? Am I missing something?

I would recommend Aria train Drone Interfacing. Camera drones can be difficult for the novice

Looks like the OP needs to improve their directing skills. Still, better then that horrible Gallentean holovid about space vampire meets young girl...

I'd advise anyone watching this to assume it's a hoax. It's impossible for reasons that would be overcomplicated to explain.

Look at all these young ones with no idea who Aria Jenneth is. Presumably this means the IGS' monthly word count is about to increase exponentially.

She's mad but she's magic, there's no lie in her fire.

Another holo vid, with the same view, and the same young Achur woman staring, unsmiling, at the camera. The camera zooms in sharply from the front, and that frame freezes, boxed in blue, and slides to the far right. She turns to show the left side of her face; again, the frame freezes, boxed in blue, and slides back and slightly right, lined up next to the first. The next is a shot of the back of her head, the next of the right side of her face. Both fall back and line up, providing a full array of images. These remain for three or four heartbeats, and are gone.

The camera's view is back to its original, zoomed out position. The little Achur waits a moment, then does a slow, solemn twirl.

Text appears at the bottom of the screen.

This is Aria?

The video ends.

Is this her? Um, me?

Not someone who just looks similar?

I want to be sure.

The hallway door is locked.

There's a capsule and a ship outside in the hangar, and there is a socket in the back of my head.

If I try to use these things, am I going to die?

No... You're a pod pilot. That's normal. You don't remember who you are? What's the last thing you recall?

This is too weird. I think I liked the old overly confident and self-important philosopher version better.

A clone bay, a few days ago.

A bay staffer helped me to the shower, then gave a cup of tea and a message for Aria. Some men, station security, I think, brought me here, after. They locked me in these quarters.

They bring food. They don't talk, though.

Someone said I should look at her old posts and logs, so I've been reading through.

She seems like a sad person. I think she hates herself.

Did you like... I dunno, bump your head or something? Maybe defective clone? You might want to pay a visit to the station's medical facilities...... then again I'm no doctor.
