So, i just discovered that there is only a single place that mentions the actual process for 'inventing' the T3's now....only the "Experimental Laboratory" mentions "Reverse Engineering" in its description.

Not a single relic mentions that anywhere. Every single one of them says "Invention." A little misleading don't you think? And the message you get when trying to do T3 'invention' in a Design Lab just says, 'not supported'.

Was this really intentional?

Yes, but where, other than -that lab- is reverse engineering even mentioned....if you would have read the post you would have seen that.

The issue here is that in CCP's haste to combine Invention and Reverse Engineering that they left some empty links between them. The only way any character new to inventing T3's is going to know what they need to do it is by googling the question, since the game doesn't tell you.

All the game tells you when looking at the T3 relics is that they require "Invention", but then fails to tell you that it is actually the "Reverse Engineering" flavor of invention, which conveniently enough isn't done in the same facilities as normal "Invention". I had figured that when they combined the two that they had actually combined the two, not retained their separation while still using the combined term of "Invention".

All CCP needs to do to fix this is to actually properly finish integrating Reverse Engineering and Invention, so that they both use "Invention", and if they want to keep them separate, that they should make that distinction more clear on T3 relic info tabs that say "Invention" is the method being used. Unless they prefer their players use outside resources like google to figure out how to use parts of their system they forgot to complete when they combined stuff.

It is an incomplete merger of the separate systems that needs to be finished or corrected. Plain and simple.
