Translation: highsec isn't risky enough.

Thanks for clarifying that for us, Veers.

Translation: highsec wasn't meant to be risky, it was meant to be fun. It was meant for people who want to do collaborative PvE, and avoid PvP combat. Different strokes for different folks. If you want a nerfed to heck highsec full of noobs and no one else....try a different game, because Eve it sure ain't.

All of EVE was meant to be risky, but highsec was intended to be safer. Not safe, safer. It was never ever intended for avoiding PVP, ever, it was never intended to be risk free, ever, and collaborative PVP and PVE is just as possible in all areas of space, not just highsec. In fact, it's more likely to occur outside of highsec because highsec communities are virtually non-existent by nature of the risk- and social-averse types that choose to remain there. I don't need someone who doesn't know the first thing about EVE like yourself telling me what EVE is and is not, by the way. I figured it out a long time ago, accepted and adapted to it, something that you blithely refuse to do while wilfully ignoring what EVE is and was always intended to be. Which is why I'm demonstrably better at it then you and can survive in more environments within the game, while you're stuck in highsec too afraid to venture beyond it should you lose another Rupture to a gatecamp you failed to scout.

You're talking also like risky can't be fun, but the whole appeal of EVE, the reason it's been fun for its primary audience, is the risk. The challenge. Some people like a challenge, Veers. If you're not interested in a challenge, then it's you who needs to try a different game, because EVE is quite simply not for you and never has been. What you're looking for, what you want EVE to be, is not EVE. Not even close. You're like the girl that comes along and tells you she likes you but you have to make a few changes if you want her... so does she like you as you are, or does she want you to be someone else entirely? That's what you're trying to do to EVE. I'm not against change, though, especially in a game like EVE, but if it detracts from the nature of EVE, then it becomes something else, whereby it's no longer EVE, and the unique appeal it once had is gone.

My head is spinning, do you have any idea what you're talking about? Or are you roleplaying?
Anyway, point taken, hisec needs to be riskified.

There need be no clearer evidence that you've never been outside of highsec than this ridiculous assertion. Save for your own rage at failing anything that comes with real risk, you definitely haven't spent enough time outside of highsec if you think there's less rage there. The only time I get rage mail, ever, is when I'm doing my killing in high. The ONLY time.

No wonder 80% of the playerbase lives there rather than in the Eve version of Somalia.

You seem to have selective reading, so there's really no point in further describing the ISK/hr disparity any further.

It is where there is actual risks, internal and external, where you actually see people meaningfully helping each other. I have no problem with people who choose Hi Sec, I have a problem with Hi Sec being better than a vast majority of the game, and in the process, destroying it.

The problem rises from the fact that the people in highsec have no problem destroying the rest of the game with their selfishness.

Highsec is in no meaningful way "better" than C6 escalations or 10/10 DED sites. What it does offer is a different style of play, where you work with people instead of against them, and don't face open PvP ship to ship combat.

That you, and your goon allies, detest that, is your personal problem, and thankfully a sentiment that has been overwhelmingly rejected by both the game developers are the player base.

Except for:

Near perfect safety.

Total sustainability.

No RNG dependency.

You know, the three things that matter most for income generation.

Highsec should be nerfed, and nerfed hard.

Yes, and VASTLY less isk/hour.....seems perfectly balanced to me. If it was unbalanced, hard knocks would shut down and come run highsec missions. Lemme know when that happens and the goons disband. Thanks.

I see...how much do you think you can make per hour running escalations in a C6...and what do you think you can pull in an hour doing incursions/L4s in highsec?

I love your posts Veers. I almost never agree with them, but I love them. Lol

So consistent, and you just keep going and going and going. You get so many people riled up it's hilarious

I've never really looked at Hard Knocks as a PVE group. What?

Though I heard they're renting now.

But tell me Veers, why is the 'n' silent?

Are escalations both infinitely sustainable and 99% safe?

Certainly more sustainable than highsec incursions (0 non-island ones up right now), and any loss in safety is compensated by massively higher rewards. Not to mention that the bad boy escalation groups have close to 100% safety.

Ok, I've missed it......are we comparing high sec incursions to wormhole escalations?

Ya, the bad boys stomp the lesser groups.

In highsec the gankers do much the same. Wormholes still pay MUCH better...and you don't see wormhole folks running in highsec...because even with losses, isk/hour still better in da holes.
