Stats are always skewed, and anyone who has half a brain only picks out the stats they want, for each induvidual debate/discussion/troll. Well, you are forgetting they are still part of caldari militia and they are the biggest part of it. That means those who pvp in caldari militia are the exception, not the opposite. And that, is why caldari militia, on average, sucks. I have much much more respect for amarr militia.

I didn't understand the 93% stats thing, butthurt you guys have more losses than kills?

So everyone is complaining of blobs why not just make december non blob month and everyone fly small gang of less than 10 or solo then no more blobs??

I do think that we feel butthurt about all the manticores more than you, seen the thousands more pvers caldari militia has...
but heck, legit it is to be annoyed by it, we just learned those people will never be seen in any other ship(for their own good) and its better to just move on, even because they'll probably never broadcast our location and info anyway...

Ok

So what I'm getting in deciding on whether to try Faction Warfare after having a 6 month break from Eve, is don't.

It seems as broken as 0.0, and as open to neutral abuse for FW, as 0.0 is an RMT/Botting abuse.

Is there any reason or positive reason to play FW? Is there any non-blob small scale PvP, or is it another blob filled wait for some action?

FW is fine. Neutral Alts get blowed up in low sec.

Some people get into it for the free war dec, others to farm LP stores, etc etc.

Last night there were 3 of us Qcats in a plex when 3 caldari warped in. Then a 4th showed up. I went and checked the neighboring enemy system, and sure enough there was another 1 waiting for us. Would we have been blobbed? Nah. We woulda gotten beat, but not blobbed.

There's blobs everywhere, abuse everywhere, and unfair fights everywhere. Of course then again, if you have a fair fight in EVE you're doing it wrong. P

Na, Just the other day Val and I had a perfectly fair fight in a plex in Akidagi. 2 v 12
Killed 3 and they bailed...then again maybe it wasn't fair Evil

And no I don't use boosting alts as that takes far too much effort.

Don't let the very vocal minority scare you off, FW is full of good pilots and fun fights. Small gang, blobs, solo, plexers, carebears...we have all types. I have done a bit of everything in Eve and FW has the most small gang action. Another huge plus is the lulsec / pirate corps assume we are all noobs and quite regularly under estimate us. If you do decide to give FW a try make sure you join an established corp as you will be excluded from intel channels and fleets if you are not.

Most people plex solo. Even when there is more than one, its just 2 or 3 at most.

The new mechanics make it so there are not a lack of chances to fight. Fly 5 systems and someone will be plexing. There are many opportunies to have small, fun pvp. There are few opportunities to do it without blob intervention or extreme escalation. (and frankly, both sides are guilty of it). Carrier undocks against 5 man t1 cruiser gangs when you have an equal number of BCs is just kinda sad.

As someone stated earlier, if everyone limited themselves to T1 Frigate and Cruiser hulls for the month of December we would all have an excellent and extremely fun holiday.
