As you might remember, there was only a sound when the lazors started firing, and 2 min 58 sec absolute silence.

This is not perfect, but A LOT better than it was.

I have to say that I really like the new stripper sounds.

And the same for tractor and salvager.

Nice Oumpf at the start of each cycle.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

Do ice miners still go schwa-schwa-schwa-schwa-schwa-schwa-schwa-schwa-schwa-schwa-schwa-schwa-schwa-schwa-schwa because it was quite nice to hear while I was lining up a warp in for my gankships.

As a hauler, I like them new sounds :)
Although, they could respect the "lower turret sound level" setting, which they apparently don't Ugh

Well, they oughta know what to do with them hogs out there for shure.

yea i do like the new sounds a lot, although i think they should only "reset" at the start of each new cycle instead of all the time randomly, but yea also they should lower volume if that check is selected in options, they are turrets, after all

No. They make a "fwoompf" sound a bit like a big bucket of icy water landing on something, which is excellent. Haven't heard the regular mining lasers yet so I don't know if it's similar.

@ Marcus Harikari: the sound isn't random on the ice mining, it's whenever the laser shifts position at the point on the roid it's drilling from, I suspect normal lasers will be doing the same thing.
