A word for "Sniper" doesn't exist in German, we only have the term "Scharfschütze (sharpshooter)"
So GTranslate gave you the other meaning of snipe: clicky....and you actually posted about stealing some birds, which sounded pretty funny Blink

Aber wir haben kein dazugehöriges Verb (z.B. "Ich heckenschütze dich") oder keine Bezeichnung für den Schuß selbst (z.B. "Oh mein Gott, Karl wurde geheckenschützt!!")

Übersetzungsroboter sind so ein Ding.
Sie können die Wörter zwar Wörterbuchmässig richtig übersetzen, sobald es aber um Sätze oder längere Texte geht, dann wird es heikel.
Und das wird noch lange dauern bis es so weit ist, um zum Beispiel, ein Buch durch eine Übersetzungsmaschine übersetzen zu lassen und einen im Sinne des Originals gleichwertigen litterarischen Text zu haben.

Das Wort "Schnepfe" (um dabei zu bleiben) ist mehr als zweideutig.... schau mal im Duden nach.

Genau!
das ist es, was der Roboter eben nicht kann, und noch sehr Lange nicht können wird; Wörter im Kontext und in ihrer Zweideudigkeit zu bewerten.
