Hello Brother

I realize it has been far too long and I do apologize for my lack of communication. I have been engrossed and in some situations endangered by my research into the anomaly now known as Caroline's star. It has been a driving force in my life since that cosmic phenomenon Burst upon our sky scape. Many weeks watching fearful that it was a destructive factor heading our way. I chose shortly after our last communication to find the reason and I have some theories. Those will be made clear in the near future. Let me tell you now I am once again home and safe in station. Like father said "Keep home port in your heart and you will see it again". In scouring the concord data bank I have come to the conclusion that the anomaly was a very potent explosion. Along with the disappearance of certain jump gates I feel the two are linked. I have been looking threw the sub band transmission data files and thank you brother for the access it has been very helpful in finding the sources I am now basing my travels and research on. Your son says "hi" he is now standing behind me and watching as I write this letter. It was his contacts at concord that gave me the clue I needed. A report came in of a Wormhole that contained not only Telocan but also Sansha Wrecks and ruin. The transmission was very fuzzy and the content a bit hard to make out but one thing is clear to me, Sansha is using the wormhole technology created by the ancients to launch his incursions. It may not come as a surprise to you but I was nearly sent off my head. Let me tell you some of our other news. We took the Eberkanezer out to search in a newly discovered wormhole. When we followed the coordinates provided by a member of our corp we indeed found the entrance but as we approached something strange came on my sensors. Again spotted by your ever present and far smarter son Salem. There was a small drone. It was circling the event horizon of the wormhole. The details of it were quite interesting it gave no call sign and had no markings but it was at least to my research A Jove drone. Now I know what your thinking there has never been a Jove in our home space but I tell you truthfully it scared the implants out of me. I'm Sitting there staring at this ship that resembles a insect. A very odd shaped head and a large body shape oval with small legs of questionable use. Possibly to latch on to a mother ship or to assist in movement around asteroids. I was more interested in this drone than in the wormhole so we got a little bit closer. I attempted to scan the ship with cargo and standard equipment scanners both came back negative. Either they have no hardware or are shielded. It did not communicate with us in anyway though I did have Salem keep the ship aligned to a safe warp point no use taking any chances. It then did something I have never heard of a drone doing. It scanned our ship, At first I ordered a warp fearing the worst but Salem being the wiser and far more risk willing held the warp until we could determine the content of the beam. If we had not stayed we would not have found the thing that has been keeping me busy and awake for days.

Brother what I'm about to tell you is not public knowledge and I have mentioned nothing to my corp. They may fire me over this. When the craft completed its scan it turned and warped. Salem managed to hit it with a tracking probe as it was entering warp. When the signal came back that it had left warp I ordered our ship to follow to the probe. In warp I ordered the cloak activated. When we arrived it was a cloud of dust and debris we had trouble seeing anything but suddenly. Salem jumped out of the crash seat. He pointed at the Overhead screen and for a moment I had no idea what he was looking at then it struck me. Lightning, I will say it again Lightning in space. The more I looked into it the more I saw a defined shape the static discharges were swarming all over a structure yes brother a whole structure similar to fathers old Caldari tower in shape at least what I could see. I approached the anomaly and at about 2k meters my cloaking device registered interference and suddenly Shut down. Luckily the drone had moved off but there it was a whole structure cloaked. I had never heard of anyone cloaking a whole structure. We moved away from the static discharges and reactivated the cloak thankfully it was not damaged. The last two weeks have been spent doing research attempting scans and finding clever new ways to throw energy around. We tried the usual things and then some less conventional stuff. Eventually Salem recommended just throwing stuff at it and seeing where it bounced. sounds silly but it worked by tracking telemetry we have a fairly accurate shape to the tower though its energy source seems to be failing it is not interfered by any of my technology. I have not been able to break the field. I had to return to The station to resupply and check on the family business. Those modules wont make themselves. Only the widgets do that. When you return from Jita I will once again go out and study the tower I feel it is going to be trouble. and I want as much information before I make it public. Bring me some date cores I have a new blueprint and want to see if the old system still works for advanced engineering.
