C540, which is used to make only one thing -> c3-ftm, which itself is only used to make one thing -> emergent neurovisual interfaces for all four T3 cruiser hulls.

Both C540 and C3-FTM are dropping, and after the previous 24 hours are dangerously close to unprofitable, which should drive some producers to switch out, drop supply a little and could raise prices again.

What's causing such rapid drops? Lowered T3 production? Stockpiles dropped onto buys, sells adjusting?

And what do you expect is going to happen? Recovery, or continued decay?

My Magic 8-Ball points the finger at: Prospect. Thera, "This Is EVE (Uncut)".

The Prospect was a huge boon to gas harvesting in w-space (the Venture much less so), Thera generated increased interest in w-space, and "This Is EVE (Uncut)" greatly increased the people poking their noses into wormholes too.

My gut instinct is that w-space is gaining popularity as more folks "discover" it, and I just don't mean those that are exploring nor those that are living there.

Unless ship demand rises, I don't see material prices also rising. Maybe down the road when those new rookies move into T3.

About a week ago the CSM minutes contained an important little sentence where CCP confirmed that there were significant nerfs incoming on the Tengu at least.

So all those nullsec fleets running around with 200 man Tengu fleets? Poof. People are dumping t3 stocks.

As for the price recovering anytime soon, I'd guess it will recover partly if the overstock is out before CCP officially announces the Tengu nerf. But I wouldn't bet on it.
