My corp has its blueprints open to corp use.
The way we've done this, is by making the hangar they are in query only, based on titles.

Now here is the problem.... I have to actually freakin give EVERY single member the Factory Manager role......

I'm like.... wtf is this?

That means EVERYONE can deliver jobs.

For an awesome example of how dangerous this is:
I have a Chimera build running.
The build is ready to deliver, but I am not online at the time.
Now someone else can deliver the Chimera and actually take it for himself.....

It isn't much of a problem for me as a director (since I can just output it to a closed hangar), but for all the other members, this is kind of a issue.

I feel that there are 2 solutions to this and I actually feel that it would be wise to implement BOTH.

1. Make the "Rent Factory Facility" and "Rent Research Facility" role able to start jobs from a hangar that is only query-able.
Only allow the person that set it up to deliver that job.
Use the "Factory Manager" role only for delivering jobs others have setup.
EDIT: And CEO and directors of course.

2. Allow jobs started from a corp hangar, to be output into your personal item hangar, I frankly don't understand why this isn't the case already.


Both solutions would solve the problems.

Also, this is not the first time someone complained about it, I found SEVERAL older forum posts (on the oldforum.eveonline.com) saying the same thing, and those were VERY popular, with most people agreeing with the OP.

the first role management iteration is being worked on as we speak. Give them a little more time to fix it.

It may not be ready at once in February but it is early this year.
