Hello Mercs,

an aquaintance of mine is looking for someone to take down a small, offline control tower of a 3 member corporation in high sec. All members of the corp seem to have been inactive for months. Timeframe is starting after the 8th of Feb 2015.

Pls contact me on this character with an offer if you are interested. Newer/small merc corps welcome.

What race tower?

I wrote some true EVE stories! And no, they're not of the generic "my 0.0 alliance had lots of 0.0 fleets and took a lot of 0.0 space" sort. Check them out here:

EvEmail sent.

To answer your question in general, my corp's base price for smalls is 100mil + the 50mil wardec fee. Larger towers cost more, and there are surcharges for Minmatar towers, faction towers, and towers in regions not adjacent to Domain.

Don't forget to factor in possible ship loss, holding the space till you anchor a new tower (assuming that's what you want to do)

Thank you all for your replies so far. The tower in question is a Caldari Control Tower Small. Additional services can be negotioated on a contingency basis (as mentioned, the corp in question has in all likelyhood been inactive for more than 3 months, more information available by start of services, so losses / need to hold the space are not expected).

If they are inactive, why don't you do it yourself?

Cap stable laser boat and/or drone boat, go AFK if you feel confident and come back to a dead POS.

You don't really need PVP skills to take out an offline small tower, its not even that long.

IF they decide to log in and fight back, THEN you hire manpower.

My 2 cents.

Edit: Can't spell.

Thank you for the advice, although I am confident my employer is currently evaluating all possible options, including contracting out possibly timeconsuming work to professionals.

There's more than one of you? Or you are speaking as an alt of your main? If there are more than one of you and it really is dead, it will be relatively simple and a good group activity to break up the monotony of whatever bearism you usually do.

If I were you I would pay Bronson whatever he normally charges, maybe a little more and ask him to show you a thing or two about actually playing the game, from what I understand it is one of his specialties as of late. I'm sure he wont mind the extra DPS and/or cannon fodder (assuming it is defended).

I'm willing to go AFK on the thing for the equivalent of half of whatever a PLEX costs right now, plus the war fee (less is just not worth the hassle to set this up). Send me a mail if you're interested. We're listed in the 'merc contracts' channel.

Confirming that Bronson is a cool dude, and you hire him, plus show up for the operation to learn a thing or two.

Despite being against my best interests from a business standpoint, I would be willing to assist you in learning the art of offline POS bashing. My fee for doing so would be precisely offset by the time saved by any additional DPS you would provide. However, as my order is not currently accepting new applicants, you would have to wardec the targets yourself as well in order to participate.
