So i think we need a bit of a good old fashioned crystal ball thread.

Fan Fest is a month and 1/2 away, so lets start making some predictions and maybe have a place to corrugate all the rumors in one thread for better tracking.

What i think is most likly:

Valk keynote thursday will have the next ship to be added to the game, and will give us an overview of the play modes.

EVE Keynote will have some basic roadmap info and a few reviels for the year, most for the release immediatly after fan fest

CCP presents will have an overview of the New Eden project, and knowing ccp's track record another course change back to eve everywhere (last bit tossed in for fun)

What i want to happen:

Valk keynote will announce a release date (Occulus will announce this at the same time) or at the least beta date, with lots of game info. Will be a long keynote.

EVE keynote.. i;d have a video teasing the return of the jove, and a huge reveal about there roles (if not announced sooner)

Friday i woudl announce CCP's 4th (5th) project (this was mentioned a few years ago, when ccp was doing valk, dust, wod and eve. Unless its legion.) i think they have another produce due to the 1 char 4 levels on consciousness.

Sat CCP presents will have an over view of how things will tie together, with dust devs being hammered about legion, CCP will announce a green lite.

No mater what, its gonna be interetsing

I predict EVE players will eventually proof read their subject lines, or at least try to type them when they're sober.

Fanfest - I bet $100 American several things will be promised, and three months later, people will be asking where they are. One year later, we'll have moved on to another set of "things."

I predict the odor of fat people will be nearly overwhelming in some of the more popular presentations.

Valk Keynote: CCP will have learned from Dust and are going to reemphasize that Valk will not be linked to EVE for the foreseeable future, if ever. Massive gameplay changes will be shown, new partnerships announced.

EVE Keynote: Sleeper/Jovian trailer explaining what the f*ck is going on with the drones everywhere. Major announcements regarding key overhauls to corp management, POS's and most importantly, the first official presentation of new Sov mechanics (which will have a separate presentation of their own where everyone is going to complain about their own bottom line). I will not be sitting among the EVE Devs by accident this year.

Dust/Legion Keynote: Dust will be briefly shown with the past update in mind and a future roadmap, but the majority of the presentation will be about Legion and how it's coming along. Maybe even with a date for an open beta later in the year. They will announce (again) major plans to hook Legion into EVE in Dust's place once the game goes live and even more ways to influence EVE (maybe solidified plans related to PI).

CCP Keynote: They will explain what the f*ck happened with the EVE models they had planned and present another awesome Guard music video that will have to be played twice out of sheer awesomeness. We'll finally learn a bit more about the EVE TV show that was planned (either canceled or going into production stages, could go either way).

Security Presentation: At least one asshat is going to b*tch about the ISBoxer ban. At least one asshat is going to ask about two factor authentication. The number of accounts banned for abusing ISBoxer will be greater than 1000.

Pubcrawl: No flags will stolen this year. Bars that involve elevators will be avoided.

Graphics Presentation: At least one asshat is going to ask about corp logo's on ships. The answer will be: We're not sure yet. And everyone will moan in disappointment.

POS Overhaul Presentation: At least one asshat is going to b*tch about having to pay a fee for building at his own POS.

I think that's about all I can come up with. If everyone could send me 1 million isk for each point I get right, that would be great.

And to be by and for the spirit of the game, the player in the capsule must be there against his will and will have to sing a song to be allowed to re-enter.

that's about the only bet I'd be willing to make, lots and lots of alcoholic beverage consumption. sadly I won't be there this year to bring up the average

I don't believe in advanced alien lifeforms. However, I do believe we have more than enough active subscribers to keep this game running for a very, very long time.
