Hello

Im looking for opinions on my T3 Tengu Fit. I primarily want to use this as a PvP roam ship with my corp buddies. I don't plan to use any implants on this character.

Rapid lights have crap for reload. If it ain't dead before you reload, you almost certainly will be.

Large shield extender will increase your sig radius (easier to target and easier to hit) which hurts the idea of speed tanking.

Set up looks like it's meant to obliterate drugs and Dessie's and the occasional cruiser.

If you encounter anything BC and above, it will have the advantage. Cruiser games would be on par.

You say you go with buddies, fit your ship according to how they fit theirs. That will offer the best advice from us.

tengu isn't too popular in pvp though. Compared to the other T3s. Anything fast and moderate range will be near invincible to you. So beware.

Yeah i went with the rapid lights mostly due to range and i wanted to be able to kill pesky interceptors. Would you say T2 heavys/HAM's are a must? Like i said this is mostly for roams where we have a scout so i doubt i will ever face off with a Battleship or some crazy gate camp.

Worst case im see'ing myself run into is another T3.

Might as well consider the fit as a solo PvP. The roams are normally just the late night mostly unorganized aside from "Everyone warp here and shoot this".

Rifling launcher pattern is the wrong offensive subsystem to use. It's for ECM, and you're not using any ECM. You want to use the Accelerated Ejection Bay subsystem, and you probably want to use kinetic (scourge) missiles instead of mjolnir.

Your fit gets 584 dps if you include drones, which you didn't. Accelerated ejection bay with scourge fury gets 736 and you don't have to worry about drones.

Aha, so THAT explains why CFC, BL, PL, NC. (and others) all have Tengu fleet doctrines.

Don't roam with a 10MN AB unless your gang is specifically tailored around AB ships. And, unless you really, really want to use a tengu, i would recommend that you run approximatively the same setup (with a MWD) on a Cerberus.

Fly it like a RLML caracal, it's basically the same with more dps, range and tank, while being slightly less maneuverable.

Would recommend using rails instead of rapid lights honestly.

Far more versatility and no giant reload time.

Except rails are clearly not tailored for anti-support...

It's like he wants to ride an harley, i'm suggesting him to go for a 125cc, and you're just telling him to buy a lawnmower.

Just do this if you want to use rapid lights.

In his second post, OP mentions that he wants rapid lights to kill inties.
