i am curious, which t3 do you guys like to fly for solo work or small gang stuff? how do you like to fit it? what type of role do you enjoy filling with it (dps, ewar, etc.)?

i have quite a few different fits/hulls worked out that i personally like, but having never actually flown a t3, i was hoping you guys could expand on different things about them so i could get a better idea of them before i sink ~500m into a single hull (:

Tengu/Legion can both go with some 100mn fit for great mobility and tracking-independent missiles. They also both offer great active rep next to their dps and mobility (and sick native caprecharge).

Add shield/artillery lokis for small gangs, since they yield you tackle (single web) and dps at 40-50km. Same for active railprots with tackle-subsystem and kitey laserlegions. The scorchone though got nerfed a fair bit recently, beams do better by now.

love the 100m active ham legion, expensive (think combined cost of a small gang) but well worth it .
works reeeeely well with 2 neuts but you give up the 4th mid (and a bit of dps but its not an issue at all)

be prepared to throw money at t3s to get the silly performance people complain about though so if your unsureof the role you are trying to use it in, use the t2 ship for the role as you wount be sweating bullets when things go sideways

cheapest small gang t3 would be a proteus.

Faction fit the tank and T2 everything and it pumps out some serious dps while having silly hp. Increased point/scram range is very valuable too.
