Do you think ccp are making the sleepers atack pos, so no titan/super is safe ?Cool

I know that atm the dps wont hurt a deathstar, but if they keep on getting buffs who knows in 6 months. In CSM notes it was 'joked ' that super removal and SP refund was being looked at. What if they just code in that passively defended POS get killed by sleepers. As of now sleepers on SiSi will attack without being agressed, and follow you though the system.Attention

QuestionWould you fly a super if;
I. You safely park your super in POS and log off.
II. Sleepers kill the pos.
III. You log in and get agressed by sleepers, the only way to get unagressed is jump to new system.
IV. You safely park up your super in a POS and log off.
V. Deja vu

POS have reinforcement timers you know.

And why would the sleepers camp a dead POS, even if they did come back 3 days later to kill it without anyone bothering to show up to defend or POS gun?

Any one with any sense has multiple characters when flying a super or titan and logs a scout in to check its clear before logging the super in, if its not clear i.e. sleepers have destroyed the POS and/or are camping the spot then they get their alts/corp/friends to put up a new POS. Anyone else i.e. single character bought titan on mummies credit card deserves to die anyhow.

please let me fill in some missing points, i thought this was self evident,

The sleepers warp arround the system they are in, the find things and scan them (currently) on sisi they then attack.
So they warp arround fins a POS and reinforce it, then warp arround searching.
Later they find the POS again, the stront has been used , they kill it.

They will be doing this to all POS in a system.

It also stops the 'free supply' of moon goo from non actively defended POS [ Something else i believe that CCP would be very happy with]

even on SiSi these sleepers are only in systems with unidentified objects so just do log your supper of in a POS in such a system

i am also very much against any NPC getting to the point that they can destroy a player structure like a POS as that is something that should be left up to players.

and it is not just a free supply of moon goo those towers are actively defended when ever they are attacked if you feel some one is getting something for little to no effort then go out and attack the towers and make them put effort into it

If you use a POS for super protection, I think it's not all that much to ask to sometime maybe clear a few NPC off of it or rep it if it got reinforced.

If the sleepers become very active it will severly reduce POS use to your main habitable systems, you will need a lot of activity to keep them alive. How this will play out in WH is anyones guess, but then CCP didn't expect us to live in them anyways Blink

I'm kind of ok with that, to be honest.
