Suggestion: Showing active utilities in the hacking game!

As an active explorer, I would find it extremely helpful if the utilities could indicate whether they are selected or not. Some, like the wrench and the shield seem to flash gently, but others, don't or don't always. It is pretty frustrating to click on a utility that doesn't get registered and lose the game because, for example, the shield is in fact NOT active.

So, a suggestion for the dev crew: Add some indicator to show whether a utility is active and will be applied like glowing orange or something.

Thoughts? Good idea? Bad?
