Could i ask how i should fit an astero for general high sec combat sites ( 1-2 ) this may seem quite a lame question but the problem i am having is this, i have jumped into a 2/10 combat site in my basic exploration fit astero and need to get within 17km to target stuff, unfortunatly i almost lost the ship before i even had a locked target and drones launched.
site in question was blood raider human farm.
thank you

First, you need to get a mobile depot.

Then put all the modules you may need into your cargo hold and warp not into a combat anomaly, maybe an asteroid belt or a planet if not stations are available.

Then open cargo when you land and right-click that depot and select 'launch for self'. That wil deploy the depot.

One minute later right-click that depot right next to you and select 'use fitting service'. This will open your fitting screen.

Now you can fit the modules you need from your cargo hold onto your Astero. After you changed your fitting to suit your combat anomaly purposes you can right-click the depot right next to you and select 'scoop to cargo hold' and the depot is in your cargo hold again.

You could also leave it in space somewhere but don't forget to bookmark it first so you can collect it later. Another use for the depot would be to put the loot you collect inside and grab it later.

Since it cannot be destroyed immediately, you will find that 50m³ tool worthy of any future endeavours of yours.

If you need a hint, what modules you may want on the Astero, you should always read the 'traits' tab for information. Drones on an Astero are always a good choice.

Since you can have 15 small drones in your bay I suggest you have Amarr, Gallente and Caldari or minmatar drones for damage type selection but I leave that at your discretion.

Eve Minions is recruiting.

Hi there,

you can use the Mobile Depot to get rid of the two (?) warp core stabs you have fitted ;-)
They are hurting your Targeting Range.

Then try to finish off the Stasis Towers in the site and you should be able to speetank most of the incoming damage with your AB.
Further information about the site can be found here http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Blood_Raider_Human_Farm if you don't have the link already.

Greetings
