Nobody is going to duel a Scorpion without a pile of ECCM modules fitted at which point your whole gimmick stops working and you'll just be praying to get a lucky jam off so you can warp out. You also have anemic DPS, so you're going to run into an issue where even assuming you could permajam someone you won't be able to break anything with an active tank.

With a 19% jam chance and 5 ECMs, your jam chance is 65% overall per cycle of the entire ECM suite.



If you know so well that your opponents are going to fly an abbadon, why not just fit an active shield tank with strong EM/Thermal resists and laugh at their lasers instead of trying to use an RNG based and overall bad damage mitigation method that has huge vulnerabilities.

I used the Scorpion for quite some pvp action but always with 3-4 others. Its a decent support battleship but not quite an easy choice for solo pvp. It is doable but you need decent skills to make it count.
To use it´s ECM capabilities you need to armor Tank it...which leaves you with less slots for dmg mods. I am using Rapid Heavy missle launchers on mine to be able to hit cruisers more efficiently.
If a frigate catches you though ....probably not even ECM helps you out.
