Nemesis vs Manticore. What's the difference?

I plan to become a stealth bomber pilot and am pretty much sure of this. So I was fooling around with the compare tool and noticed that the Manticore and the Nemesis are basically the same with minimal differences. Nemesis has slightly higher cap, Manticore has higher CPU (if I recall correctly), so on and so forth. So what in the flying **** is the difference? Is there something the compare tool leaves out? (Which seems highly unlikely).

I would also like to know, just for reference, the different aspects of all four stealth bombers and how they compare to each other. Because from what I gather, it just comes down to preference of the minimal advantages they have over each other, but that's probably horse ****.

Thanks for your help in advance.

P.S. If you guys have any other useful information you could throw my way irrelevant to this threads initial purpose that would be awesome. o7

Manticore and Nemesis. Caldari and Gallente Stealth Bombers.

They are both Stealth Bombers. They both use Torpedoes. Whew, now that that's out of the way...

They will both have similar characteristics. PG, CPU etc etc.

Main difference is that while Manticore has a bonus to Kinetic damage, Nemesis has a bonus to Thermal damage. The damage bonuses to these SB's is so large that you'd be crazy to consider using, say, EM torps on a Manticore instead of it's bonused Kinetic torps.

There's honestly not much difference aside from that. Some people will tell you that Caldari/Gallente SB's suck because the two most common resist holes, EM and Explosive, are already being covered by the other two (Probably most popular) SB's - Purifier and the Hound. Some also say that the Caldari and Gallente SB's are the harder of the four to fit properly.

Others will argue that it doesn't really matter.

I say go with what tickles your pickle. Gallente Nemesis got a buff a little while back and while I haven't flown it since then, I hear it's better than it used to be.

He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight.

He will win who, prepared himself, waits to take the enemy unprepared.

Just from the fittings they differ. You can get a 750dps purifier for 35mil. But you can only get a 580dps manticore for the same money. Fairly obvious then why people don't like gall/caldari bombers.

The Manticore and Nemesis are roughly similar to each other, having only minor differences in terms of fitting, etc. (On a personal note, I think the Manticore looks way better than the Nemesis, but I digress.)

The Purifier and Hound are also relatively similar to each other in terms of fitting, although they both tend to be a bit light on CPU compared to the other two.

The big divide is between these two groups. The former can potentially apply damage better to smaller targets as they have more slots for painters, the latter can potentially apply more damage to larger targets since they have room for more damage mods. But in the middle, where most fits use one painter and one or two damage mods, their overall performance is pretty similar.
