Wow! I'm in the 1%! I did that once...

I did some Awoxing on my main and never had any trouble. Shot some greens who were being complete and utter retards. More than once.

It's probably just the type of people you're trying to join.

Pretty much this though. You'd be surprised at the number of corps that will let you in if you tell them upfront that you're an awoxer. Hell, only two corps I've ever been in on this character didn't know that have awoxed people in the past.

It depends on the kind of corp you're joining and the kind of awoxing you did. In a world where GoonWaffe did public recruitment a hisec safari would probably belong at the top of your resume.

So a former corp mate came forth to me for some advice, he's wondering if he's eternally locked down now that he awoxed a target just to see what it feels like. He's got extensive skills suiting his former Wormhole experience, but now that he's got that black mark he isn't able to find a new corporation.

Mission Accomplished! They now know what awoxing feels like.

seriously, why did they expect?

He said he read something about CODE. and Safaris. Knowing CODE, he's an idiot. He might as well just join them at this point.

Lots of corps(including code.) will accept awoxers. He is always free to join pizza. Awoxing garuntees citizenship there.

Uh, shouldn't have problems joining a corp that isn't grabbage. I've done some things and I have never had a problem. Hell, currently I head up recruitment for my current corp.

For an esteemed posting connoiseur such as yourself? I would vouch you past the security deposit myself. Hell, for you, I'd even move your ships and assets out to your new home personally.

As a small favor, it would make the shipping go a bit smoother if you concentrated the bulk of it in Jita beforehand.

I represent Scope Project that is quickly becoming a sanctuary for marked toons simply put I control all collective assets and ask that no "donations" occur between Scope Project members. We also educate all our community on the latest awoxing techniques and safety protocols

we are not immune to awoxing and will actively consider it as a final solution to any who intend to harm us but I train all that join my organisation to please be carful with internal interaction and work with those you trust but always try to extend the hand of friendship to new toons and give them the benefit of doubt

yes they can turn a new leaf I myself participated in a code. gank fleet and became apart of A.G from what I saw there (it is a hell boring way to gank...and im a flipping miner Shocked)

yes they can but if they is a asshat they cant change as a player (we have had a few that simply crossed the well set lines and have ben perm banned from us)

"we must learn from the dark side of eve not shield ourselves from it...it simply does not work"

He should start his own corp and keep all assets that aren't his out of his reach.

Unless you're planning on just graduating the awox character to ganking afterwards, there isn't a whole lot you can do with them once their killboard has blue on blue on it.

Rep is important in this game. I publicly approve of awoxing and have done it a whole bunch of times, but even I don't **** where I live.

There are plenty of ways to explain a blemished killboard if you have one blue on blue incident. Lying is your friend.

I recommend that you tell future recruiters "Yep. I joined that corp without realising they were a bunch of RL neo-Nazis. Got sick of the 'white pride' comments in corp chat so I shot them and left". In my experience noone even considers that that might be a lie. (Edit - should be obvious from the context but the censored word means 'right wing extremists').

You might also consider getting an off-account alt into the corp you earlier AWOXed or into the blue-on-blue victim's new corp, then making a forum thread accusing the member you shot at of being a corp thief. It will come up in Google searches and it will trash their reputation.

If it's not just one incident but a whole filthy killboard, or if you have repeatedly and publically admitted to blue-on-blue for-the-lulz kills, you're only getting into careless corps. If it gets really really bad, sell the character and buy another.
