I have noticed this problem in some location during missions. Usually I get FPS around 60, but in those areas it drops below 15. Visually it looks blurry and foggy in those locations. I tried turning on and off different settings in EVE, but nothing helped.
Has anybody else encountered it? Did you find a workaround? Maybe some other EVE setting? Or some graphics card tweak?

I have an Acer notebook with Intel® Core™ i5-4200M processor and 8GB or RAM, my graphics card is NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 760M with 2GB GDDR5 VRAM. I have one account, so I only have 1 EVE client running, and maybe a browser and windows explorer windows open, so I am not pushing my system to the limits.

Any suggestions?

Fully zoom out.

It seems CCP added some FPS-eating fog to certain areas.

I'm my own NPC alt.

its related to clouds...... it has been asked a lot to have a seperate "disable Cloud" button in gfx menu..... it is not implemented, i dont know why...

only thing you can do is to uncheck "effect" in the gfx menu. downside is, you loose lots of other nice effects too. i wonder if they ever let us turn off clouds only..... would be life safing for my laptop gpu + my ears
