QFT. If one were to pay rl cash for them, they would cost $1500. But that doe snot mean the person that lost them actually paid cash for them. They could have been purchased of the market.

I'm so sick of these arm-chair web commentors saying how player x lost these many thousands of dollars playing Eve because they got their money blown up or stolen. This is factually untrue.

Assuming that Player X actually paid rl cash for PLEX and did not purchase them off the market, then Player X paid CCP for in-game items. Money is now gone. Player X loaded his in-game items into a ship and got them blown up, just like thousands of other players and in-game items every day.

The only difference is that player X was very foolish to load such a high isk value stack of stuff into a noob ship.

I was just thinking that. For the first time in almost as long as I have been playing I have more than one account going and I'm wondering how long that will last.
