SUBJECT LINE: Keep your distance
From: Stokar

This ominous message was sent to Wilson Naskingar, a player who was salvaging wrecks left behind by combat missions. Having over three years spent in Aliastra corp, Stokar did little to interact with other players and depriving him of basic social psychological knowledge in EVE online. He pressed further:

Stokar: "Check your mail. The dual invite is also there."

Wilson Naskingar the vulture declined.

Stunned at this simple rejection, Stolkar held his silence for 20 minutes. He could not believe why Naskingar was brazen enough to steal from his wrecks generated by his efforts, and yet cowardly enough to decline a head on confrontation.

"Why are you hiding in a station?" Stokar inquired.

Naskingar, unsure whether the question was rhetorical held his silence. Vultures are not hunters, they are scavengers.

"My Ferox vs your Myrm. You scared? Or just another chicken?" Skokar taunted. "I'll flush you. 2004 vs your 2014. you chicken?"

I am a vulture. I am no chicken. I do not find sustenance through a hand which feeds. I find my own.

Naskingar asked without concern "dude, you okay?"

Stokar, now seething. "A duel, or I put a 5 mil bounty on you. Your choice. You have 60 seconds to decide."

He reasoned an ultimatum may goad his vulture to accept this challenge. Five million ISK. A sizable incentive for bounty hunters to pursue this low-life scavenger! After all, how much could he be worth if he needs to salvage?

"5 mil bounty on you now. I'll let A few old friends about you"

"I'll tell my friend, whatever."

"Blargle, he'll love to see you... If you ever go into low sec...but you won't. You tell any and all your friends. You don't have nearly as many dogs in Eve as I do little boy..have a nice day"

Naskingar sneered "You too, grumpy"

As of 19:13 EVE time, 12 hours from when this exchange was made public, Skokar now has a bounty on his own head of over 2 Billion ISK and counting.

Man, a duel invite from a mission runner is like a gift from the gods. Why didn't this guy just accept it and murder him? Scan his ship, fit counter, collect killmail. Any decent kite cruiser would murder a Ferox.

Perhaps he sensed a trap.

Perhaps he was not as stupid as his challenger, or as easily agitated.

Perhaps there are many people in this galaxy that don't measure their manhood by the number people they can murder.

Perhaps he was just a vulture.
