To add to what FT said In most fights you don't bother head shotting the boots but rather the FC and his know alts to get his eyes off the field and hope his stand in isn't as good

and in smaller fights the boosts (if on grid) have to much tank to get though before you lose a good chunk of your DPS

I'm going to put in my +1 for the average fleet member not being able to just easily see who the booster is. If you want to headshot the booster, then do your proper job as a spy and figure it out. The rest of the hierarchy should be visible though.

+1 this.

Any 250 man fleet that has the booster on-field is doing it wrong.

You want to keep a DD'ing erebus off grid? Blink

Playing "spot which Erebus is the booster" vs a fleet of titans is kinda harder than "spot the claymore" in other fleet comps not consisting of claymore and that is the reason why on-grid boosting can't work.

I'm not following your logic, could you expand on this?

Are you saying on-grid boosting can't work because that ship can be spotted and blown up?

There should be a module that you can activate that makes you look like the fleet booster but really aren't.

This has the feel of the beginning pages of one of those old SPY VS SPY comics.

You're basically areguing that only well places spies should be able to know who the booster is and leave the younger low level spies in the dark. This is just another form of noob hatingg and I think it's despicable.

If you've got the ability to field a 250 dude/bro fleet, then you've got to accept that there may be a spie in the fleet that may put the wonkdown on your booster. It's like your complaining that a specific member of your pvp fleet should get limited immunities because he's so valuable (beyond the already granted reistance bonuses and what not).

Anyone that would waste time shooting through a booster and popping him is just silly. When you pop him, they know to swap him out. Just neut the dude out, you have a much better chance of keeping a useless booster in tact if you ensure you don't put a scratch on him.
