Any chance of getting an update on:

1. If this is still something being worked on?
2. If it's on the itinerary/schedule for 2015?
3. Status of the unreleased/future ship skins?

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Well this is Features and Ideas Discussion - this is a feature, let's discuss it P

Ship painting has been extensively discussed and even demo'd at the last fanfest- any news on its progress and possible implementation would be greatly appreciated.

Also, in spirit of skins - I for one would love to know about the Golem Guristas Edition skin or the Paladin Blood Raiders Edition skin and whether or not I will be able to get either of them anytime soon- along with that, I would love to see carrier skins (especially a Guristas Chimera).

This is a valid discussion - a lot of people have this on their minds and it's a fun thing to think about.

I would pay a lot of isk for 50 "SERENDIPITY LOST ROCKS!!!!" bumper stickers that I could slap on one of my admirers ships.

The bumper sticker couldn't be romoved w/ out an equivalent amount of isk being spent to remove it. It would also be the ships name until removed.

Not exactly a custom paint job, but definitely a fun isk sink that a lot of folks would utilize.

Imagine personalizing some noobs titan w/ your bumper sticker. Who wouldn't pay isk for that.

That arrogant mission runner in your system strutting around in his pimped out vargur.... place bumper sticker and enjoy!

This just came up today, in fact. I can't offer you status or delivery dates, and I also shouldn't imply that everything that's been demoed in the past is representative of what a finished feature would look like, but it's definitely still where we're trying to go.

There's still a lot of work that has to happen to enable such a thing, however.

Progress has been made:

1) the ship skins test run has shown an interest

2) they upgraded the db on the back end to make this feature more doable

3) they prototyped a ui for it, and in eve vegas mentioned it was still being toyed with.

So.. once again.. Soon(tm)

Is the eventual plan to take this concept away from this stupid blueprint crap that forces us to unrig the ship just to skin it? Because so long as it remains in this form, i, and lots of ppl i know, refuse to do it because its dumb to unrig just for colors.
