Ever since this new graphics release I am getting some serious lag when running missions and such when I encounter bright spots. The FPS seriously takes a nose dive.

Anyone else having this problem?

You mean the GFX clouds? Yeah, those aren't new. They've been around for an annoyingly long time.
Zooming out solves all the problems.

If that is what they are called.. GFX clouds then yes. The are a major lag producer. I'm also seeing an FPS drop when looking at other bright spots (the sun). Sometimes it is not so bad and some times as in the clouds it makes the PC literally crawl.

If this issue began for you around the time of one of our releases, please open a bug report using the F12 menu. Including a screenshot will help.

A bug report submitted in this way will give us a rundown of your system configuration and give us a much better chance of reproducing the issue.

Does your graphics card support DX11? If not, change the DirextX version in the launcher back to DX9. It's been set to DX11 by default since they released support for it...a year ago maybe? I don't remember exactly. I was having frame rate issues as well, this fixed it for me.

Sounds like a graphics card issue.

If the GPU didn't support DX11, all he would see is a black screen if the client would start at all.
