Put my vote down for a dual web loki. Your gunnery skills won't even matter if you can web things down to a standstill. Of course your gunnery will help, but the difference between crappy gunnery skills and great gunnery skills on a dual web incursion loki is approximately 250 dps vs 400 dps. That 150 extra DPS is about 1% of the fleet's DPS.

Disclaimer: The above post may or may not be using hyperbole.

Hyperbole aside, I had good luck with the Huginn. Less DPS then the Loki, but waaaaay longer web range and cheaper hull (around 130m). Both need cruiser 5 though, so still not "quick", but you'd need to grind some missions anyways.

What kind of guns do you have, Zealot is amazing HAC for incursions, spend some time in it before being able to afford legion for incursions.

There is about 6 days in preqs between HAC and T3 (plus getting subs to 5) so you could go simple route.
Get into HAC with t2 guns, while making isk train towards T3, put few shineys into HAC (damage mods, web and tank) and when you are ready move that fit into T3.

Legion is just amazing for vanguard whoring. Loki is quite decent.

I`m not just sure about how minie HACs fare in incursions, never been fleeted with one.

I have T2 Medium Autos. I am a few days away from Surgical Strike V and then I might start on Artillery.

I couldn't imagine flying a Guardian without Multitasking 3. It's the only ship where I felt I needed it, but it comes in VERY handy in Vanguard groups.

Having everyone targeted in advance saves lives. Sure, there's a watch list. Sure, most of the time you have plenty of time to target the guy taking damage.

But every now and again you fleet with someone with a squishy fit or bad skills, and reps landing a few seconds late will kill them.

I know sometimes it's difficult to realize just how much you spend on incidental things each month or year, but seriously, EVE is very cheap entertainment compared to most things... If you are a smoker, smoke one less pack a week and pay for EVE, with money left over to pick up a cheap bundle of flowers for the EVE widow upstairs.

Honstly, logistics in incursions can be painful if your just starting as a logistics pilot. What was said earlier about the Zealot is good, they lock fast, have good range and a fair amount of DPS. Zealot then either train into a legion or an absolution.
