What do I need for wormhole/lowsec exploring?

I'll make a pitch for basing out of Thera if exploration is your thing.

As a transportation hub and exploration hub from which to sally forth into all of eve, low/high/null and J-space it is simply phenomenal. I know a lot of explorers now who are making it their home.

My suggestion is take a couple of herons first and get the feel for the WH life

cloaking is your friend and will save your hide on many occasion.
cove ops is the big momma of cloaks so get that training up asap

- you have to uncloak to launch probes remember to re-cloak before bringing up the map
- a safe spot is not enough in here
- always glance a Dscan and if you see combat probes check you cloak is still up
- never EVER warp to 0 on anything EVER *has forgotten this and been rat blapped an more then one occasion*

What do you need for whs/low?

Brains and balls.

Be aware that prolonged exposure to the contaminated particles of high security space will shrink both. Go before it's too late.
