The new UI icons for the Neocom

Hey guys,

I know a bunch of you have been asking to get the new icons we use in the new UI for the Neocom and such. We should hopefully be adding them to the image export collection come the February release. However until then here is: http://dl.eve-files.com/media/01/EVE_NeocomIcons_Vector.zip

Here's a google survey that functions as a set of flash cards. This strikes me as something worth browsing casually until they become familiar. Perhaps most of the benefit is mine, after making it. Nonetheless, I think it would help others identify them.

By the way... Channel Bleed... is that what I think it is? Channels whose conversations combine into one output?

Also, did you do away with Aura... she's missing. //ah, she's "Tutorial."

Now that the Neocom Icons are found in the IEC, is there any chance that the timer images (crimewatch, boosters, jump fatigue/cooldown) will be included with the IEC anytime soon?

I had a hard time recreating them, especially jump fatigue/cooldown. Sad
This is certainly in part due to my lacking image editing skills.

With the Opportunities system being in early development, I'd like to nag you again with another request. Oops
The Opportunities notifications (partial and complete) already got included to the IEC. Would it be possible to also include the UI elements of other opportunities related windows? That'd probably help not just me a lot in the process of creating website content targeted towards new players.
Once the system is ready for release of course. It's just me here, annoying you again in advance.

If this doesn't get done, remind me after the release of the feature and I will poke some people. It should be really easy to get it added.

I asked again about the timers and was told that shouldn't be a problem. If they don't get into the next release after FanFest let me know. :)

As requested: The Timer (and Opportunities UI) Icons did'nt make it into the IEC.


Something that changed with this IEC: the file names of PNG within

Scylla_1.0_Icons.zip -> Icons\items\renders

This screenshot shows the files for the Bantam (item, bpo, bpc). Files with February 17th are from the Tiamat IEC (similar to previous exports) , Scylla files are the ones from March 23rd. Is the digit after the 65/128 (image dimensions) no longer used?

Update: Still waiting to hear back from UI guys as to objections to adding those icons. If no objections I will add them myself to the whitelist.

On the icon naming, that third number used to correlate to race ID, we no longer do that. The response I got was "we no longer render multiple icons for different races. The _0 and _1 etc. were the raceIDs."

This was a change that was made a while ago internally and only just went out. Due to the delay between doing it and it going out the communication about the change got a bit... well forgotten. Very sorry about that!
