The finale of the first Veto. meet i went to was like 10 PL dudes singing 'Little Bees' with Suas just after last orders :) haha

I might be interested in coming along, but having never been to a meet before I'm a bit nervous.

What exactly happens at meets?

I don't drink alcohol (although I'm fine about meeting in a pub) so I wondered if it's just a drinking session while chatting about the game? This wouldn't necessarily put me off although as a non-drinker, there's a limited amount of fun to be had by watching the people around you get hammered of course.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. When I die, all those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

Drink & chat just about sums it up. Although in the past CCP have brought some shinies along. One time some Valkyrie rigs were brought to show the current state of development.
