So now that we've gotten rid of clone costs and the risk of losing skill points through not updating your clone, etc -

CONCORD should pod people in high sec so that they risk their implants, too. After all if suicide is a choice, then suicide should have appropriate consequences. Perhaps the next clone will be more viable for social integration...

Funnily enough, yesterday I was discussing that with some of my corp guys. Definitely supported.

Don't get me wrong I'm not against ganking at all. But it should take a team effort. One lone player should not be able to, say, bring down a bowhead just by re-shipping over and over and....

Why? Or do you figure that, with the med clone changes and the removal of death cloning, this would turn ganking into a once a day thing? Roll

a bow head fit that badly...yeah it should burn.

A tanked bowhead with logi probably cant be ganked with one ship at a time. then there are all the other ways to avoid ganking.

Well that's the nature of buffer tanking, and in the case you're thinking about all it would have taken is for one friend to come and counter bump the bumpMac but he didn't do that, he logged hoping the ewarp/logoff would save him.

So you figure the freighter pilot should bring a few friends to do logi for him, whereas a single pilot repeatedly jumping into ejected catalysts is ok. You don't think this is a broken mechanic at all.

That's not the point. The point is when your clone is killed you find yourself back in a station somewhere, not on grid next to your Orca and all the catalysts you have prepared. Like you said, if no one suicide ganks in an implanted clone then it really is no biggie, right?

I have always thought that a Concord response should end with them blowing up ship or ships taking the pods with them.

By this standard, all NPC's should pod you.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

Ok, so you set your medical clone to a station in the system you're ganking in, then when you get podded, you appear right with all your backup ships. No more having to warp to the orca, alt tab to orca pilot, eject catalyst, alt tab back to ganker, board catalyst, all while making sure your machariel pilot keeps bumping away. I like this idea. Makes suicide ganking easier.

Saves me a warp. +1

But yeah, no. I don't see who gets anything out of this. Anti-gankers seem to enjoy the odd time they catch a pod, give them something at least Blink

You find yourself back in station, where you undock and warp to the shuttle. Doesn't change anything except adding a few seconds.

Shuttle comes first, by the way. You need to pull CONCORD off grid.

Sure why not, won't make the slightest difference. Except to make life easier for the ganker. Then you can run back to the forums and whine about something else, asking for another nerf. Just one more, then it will be balanced. Amirite?

I find it hilariously funny though that you complain about someone solo, killing someone solo. (Even though the ganker wasn't solo, but then why let facts get in the way?)

This must be a part of that patch too. Oh my, the forum threadnaughts would be massive. Lol

only supported because one guy constantly resupplying ships with an orca is about silly, if your going to cause trouble, at least have enough guys to do it in one shot

For god sake Lugh, please don't point out the obvious. It's not proper forum etiquette, don't you know? Lol
