About tactical overlay.

I'm one of those players that are moving the camera constantly, In and out.
Overall I set the camera far away and my ship cant be seen at all if I didnt have tactical overlay always on.

First off, you need to remove the white horizontal plane. It gets on the way visually like a filter to the beautiful stars background.
The lines(concentric circles) are enough to see the horizontal plane.

It make Impossible to enjoy my ship hull when is halfway cut by a white plane.

Second I would like to be able to add me own ranges indicator, with customizable colors. For example having a 13km red indicator (web range)

namely I'd like over exaggerated space trails, so you could quickly gain a perspective of ships vectors and velocity at a glance.

and yes settable spheres around specific ships would be nice... namely heated scram range, and heavy nuet range.

but the ecliptic is fine, it reminds me of home world.

Yes!

Also add a little dot or something at the center.

A velocity vector (for your own ship, at least) would be super useful too.


Basically, overlay is currently pretty awful, improve it CCP!
